Mission Statement:
St. Francis of Assisi Episcopal Church is a welcoming family of Christians whose mission is to worship and serve God. We are called by Christ to spread the Gospel, grow spiritually, and care for the community. We foster active participation of all by enhancing tradition and encouraging the involvement of our youth. We serve God through service to others.

Outreach
Now that the holidays are over and we are just sitting around in BLAH old January/February why not get out to volunteer some of that time? Loaves and Fishes can use your help. Also our own library ( you know back across from the Youth Room) can always use help. Contact Nancy Storey to set up times.

We hope to be able to set up a literacy outreach for those in our community who cannot read. The only stigma about illiteracy is not doing something about itInternationally, we hope to continue our support of the orphanage in Bolivia.
If you have a particular volunteer job that you do could you please let me know what it is. You can call me at 936-8740 or email me @tinkerboat3@yahoo.com. - Martha McMahon

St. Francis Stewardship Prayer
Gracious God, from you comes every good and healthful gift. Help us through our faithful stewardship to acknowledge that all things come of you and to learn that it is in giving that we receive. Give us grateful hearts and make us joyful givers as we put our trust completely in you; and then use us, we pray, to the fulfilling of your Word and for the spread of your kingdom. In the name of your greatest gift, our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Amen.
